Stalker-ish Obsession With An Actor: Emma Stone

Take away the fact that she is a total fashionista, Emma Stone is also a brilliant actress and extremely funny. She's one of my favorite people that are in my age range (she's 23). She's witty and funny, and the best thing about her is that she seems to be very genuine and nice in person.

Her fashion as well, has gotten so chic and stunning. Her award season outfits have me green with envy. I can't wait to see what she wears to the Oscars!

Dress By Alexander McQueen (She has won 100 cool points from me for wearing my favorite designer.)

Random Adventure: Venice Beach

Today, i decided to take a small photo adventure by myself after my doctors appointment. I felt like i needed to clear my head and relax alone. So i ventured out into the crazy jungle that is Venice Beach, CA. Which is about 5 minutes away from my house in Santa Monica.

I started with a Hot Coco at Cafe Collage, which is a cafe right before the Venice Boardwalk. This was my first time here and it was very good. i like the way the cafe looks and the hot coco was delish. After i left the cafe, i walked from Abbott Kinney to the Boardwalk and captured some awesome shots of the street art. I had a lovely 2 hours to myself. I plan on doing this once a week. Go somewhere here in LA and have a photo adventure, and be with my thoughts. I suggest it for people who are having a stressful time.

JEAN PAUL GAULTIER SPRING 2012 Couture: A Tribute to Amy Winehouse

JPGs' line was really loud and colorful. I think its really sweet it made it a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse. I love the beehive hair and i really love the cotton candy, crayola box colors he did. Good runway show as well.

Jason Wu for Target

I am a huge fan of these designer brands going cheaper for Target. I loved Rodarte for Target, and also the very insane and crazy Missoni for Target. (I managed to get almost everything I wanted....after searching 7 stores and 2 cities...i now realize how crazy I was as i write this...) I also really like Libertine for Target. I'm really excited for what Jason Wu has to offer. I am a huge floral fan and i am so excited to the floral patterned hang bad and the lace dresses. February can't come sooner!

TOMS Shoes Flats 2012

I'm very excited for the new flats Tom shoes are releasing. They're super cute. Nordstrom (where I work) gets them the 15th of February. So excited!

Chanel Spring Couture 2012-The Hangbags

OBSESSED.

The Chanel handbags from the runway show are TO DIE FOR. The seashell theme is brilliant. Its my current Paris Runway Obsession.

Chanel Spring Couture 2012

The BIG BIG elephant in Paris Fashion Week 2012 (a good elephant) is Karl Lagerfelds incredible, futuristic Chanel Runway show. He presented the show on a "Chanel plane", with fake clouds and even air plane like chairs. The show was a hit! of course! its Karl, who always tops his past shows. The clothes themselves are like the classic Chanel clothes on steroids, thick round collars and puffed up sleeves. The line is loud and colorful, as karl usually makes it. but it also has a hint of darkness, a gothic theme i think we're meant to pick up. I love the "punk rock" hair the models have, and the dark black eyeliner. Karl can do no wrong. Such an awesome, rock 'n' roll runway show!

Versace Haute Couture Spring Summer 2012-13

Fashion-gasm! Wow! Extremely impressed and obsessed with Versace 2012 spring! Usually this brand is too "gody" for me. But wow! such beautiful lace, and the details on the dresses! so beautiful! where can i get these 2 pieces?!

McQ

I've been thinking about purchasing the Alexander McQueen Skull Print Scarf. I was originally going to buy the McQ sunglasses, but I did some research and realized both were pretty much the same price. (both retail for over $200 but with my discount at work i get 40 bucks off or so) I know i really want it. But is it worth spending all that money? I'm battling myself in my head. Should i buy it for myself? Wait for my birthday in April? I dunno, i don't think anybody would know i want it. Its so lovely, it makes such a statement. And i am a huge McQ fan. Decisions, decisions!

Northern Hemisphere

I can't stop thinking about Northern Hemispheres 2012 Lace Mini Dresses. How adorable are they?

Camping Trip 2012

Last year, my friends and I decided to take a camping trip every year. Just to relax and get away from the city. This year we decided to go Agua Caliente ("Hot Water" in spanish)  California which is about 30 minutes outside of San Diego City. It was lovely, very quiet and in the middle of the desert.
I am a total city girl, the most "campy" thing i own is a pair of Levi Jeans. My friends always pick on me. but i settled with wearing some Maggie Ward tights, Cotton On tee and Steve Madden Boots with the occasional moccasins, campy right?
I went with my best friend of 10 years Leah, her boyfriend Nick, her sister Jamie and my boyfriend Christian. It was an amazing trip and we're already planning the next trip to Yosemite State Park.

Joanthan Saunders Pre-Fall 2012

Super Cute.

Alexander McQueen Men's RTW Fall 2012

I have this slight fashion fetish for mens clothing. I love the penny loafers, the collared shirts and the sharp blazers men get to wear. I get so jealous when i see a very well tailored suit on a man. I wish i could pull thats off. Alexander McQueens Resort 2012 mens line is incredible. Sarah Burton went back to the traditional tailored look and I adore it. But, she also kept the "kookiness" and the spunk of the McQueen line alive. Like a classic blazer with floral patterns on the chest (far right) or the signature "moth" design with a lovely pin (center). I also love the (far right) outfit with the almost metallic arm sleeves in them. Obsessed. McQueen is my number one in high end brand names. I am always surprised at what Mrs. Burton has to give us next.

Censorship

It a bit sad that this subject even has to be discussed in our modern times. Today was the official "Blackout Day" for many huge social networking sites and basic search engines (Tumblr, Wikipedia, Google and Facebook to name a few). The black out was a protest on the "stop online piracy act" (SOPA) which gives the American government free forum to shut down a site they feel has stolen music, movies or any sort of copyrighted entertainment. It SOUNDS good doesn't it not? Wrong. This law is not good for internet users, it is a clear violation of our rights as american citizens and it also gives our government way too much control on the internet. It allows them to snoop and to pry into our private social networking sites freely. We as the young generation have stood up and fought this law, it can't never be considered as a law again. Power to the people.

First Post

I'm going to try this blogger thing once again. I love social networking, but I've realized I never actually blog about myself or my interests. so heres another try at this. I hope it is interesting for all you bloggers and inter netters. I'm currently in my hometown of San Diego, California. I just got back from a 3 day camping trip in the California Desert. I had a lovely time and took a lot of awesome black and white film images, I'll put those up once I develop them. Heres a shot my boyfriend took at the candy store in Julian, CA on our way back. See you soon.
