Censorship

It a bit sad that this subject even has to be discussed in our modern times. Today was the official "Blackout Day" for many huge social networking sites and basic search engines (Tumblr, Wikipedia, Google and Facebook to name a few). The black out was a protest on the "stop online piracy act" (SOPA) which gives the American government free forum to shut down a site they feel has stolen music, movies or any sort of copyrighted entertainment. It SOUNDS good doesn't it not? Wrong. This law is not good for internet users, it is a clear violation of our rights as american citizens and it also gives our government way too much control on the internet. It allows them to snoop and to pry into our private social networking sites freely. We as the young generation have stood up and fought this law, it can't never be considered as a law again. Power to the people.
